Walking Football is a slow-paced version of the beautiful game, if you thought your footballing days were over, then think again! Walking Football is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle irrespective of their age, as well as getting people back playing who perhaps had to stop due to injuries. It’s a great way to keep fit, learn new skills, have fun and socialise all at the same time.
At Keynsham Town the popularity of our Walking Football section continues to grow as it offer an inclusive and friendly environment for all our members to feel part of the whole club. Our members also benefit from concession prices on our men’s senior league home games and season tickets, getting the opportunity to enjoy the match day experience and support the K’s. You also get to play on the first team pitch and take advantage of our first class facilities.
But its not just about the football, our Walking Football section also supports local charities such as MacMillan, Cancer Research UK, Teenage Cancer Trust and more, so its a great opportunity to get involved.
There is always plenty going on within the Walking Football section and the newsletter is a great way to share all the success stories and keep the members updated on items of interest.
We offer a number of sessions throughout the week and also participate in leagues and tournaments throughout the season so there is always plenty of football on offer.
