Keynsham Town were founded in 1895. We first played in the Bristol & District League and progressed through the Bristol Combination, Bristol Premier and Somerset Senior League and won the Somerset Senior Cup in 1951-52 and 1957-58.
We were elected to the Western League in 1973 but were relegated three years later in 1976. Since then we have been promoted to the Premier Division three times and relegated three times. We won the Somerset Senior Cup for the third time in 2002-03 and reached the 5th round of the FA Vase in 2003-04.
The First Team currently play in ToolStation Western League Premier Division, which is step 9 of the English football league system.
We have three senior sides in all – First Team, Reserve Team and Third Team (A) along with one under 18 team and of course an excellent Junior section covering many age groups.
All home games are played at the AJN Stadium on the synthetic 3G artificial turf which ensures games are kept on throughout the winter.
